ALTAP stands for the Association of Technical Cleaning and High Pressure, a business association registered with the Ministry of Labor, which encompasses activities involving high-pressure water and vacuum systems.

The main areas of activity covered by the companies that are part of the association include:

  • High-pressure water applications in construction
  • Surface preparation applications
  • Urban sanitation with high-pressure water and vacuum systems
  • Industrial cleaning with high-pressure water and vacuum systems

Although these activities are quite diverse, both in terms of the sectors they operate in and the purposes of the work itself, they share common tools, which are generally high-pressure systems, primarily high-pressure water and vacuum systems for solid and liquid suction.

ALTAP is a recent brand, established in 2017, but it represents the union of two previously existing associations: ASELIME and AETAC.

ASELIME stands for the Association of Companies for Mechanized Industrial Technical Cleaning, an entity founded in 2002 that brought together the main industrial and municipal cleaning companies.

AETAC was the Spanish Association of High-Pressure Water Techniques in Construction, founded in 2010, representing companies linked to high-pressure water applications in construction and surface preparation, mainly of metallic types.

After a period of collaboration and cooperation, the two entities merged in February 2017, during a General Assembly held at a historic moment for the sector: the celebration in Spain of the Annual Convention of the European Water Jetting Institute (EWJI).
